WASHINGTON, D.C – Forum President and CEO and Engage China Coalition Chairman Rob Nichols will be a featured speaker at the 2012 China Financial Summit at the China Beijing International High-Tech Expo (CHITEC) held in Beijing, China on May 23rd – 24th

Mr. Nichols will deliver his remarks during the Summit’s opening ceremony on May 23rd at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse.  He will discuss how financial services modernization and market-opening reforms in China will help transform China’s economy into a more services-based, consumer-driven economy, which will help spur economic growth and job creation in both China and the United States.  Mr. Nichols will also touch upon the latest round of the U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue.

CHITEC brings together Chinese government leaders, financial services industry representatives, and economists to discuss developments and solutions to financial innovation and economic restructuring.  The theme of this year’s summit is “Balance and Innovation: ‘Reopening’ of the Financial Market.”
